Coinbase is back on Facebook: honestly speaking crypto ads have never disappeared...

Coinbase has been whitelisted by Facebook. Now it can post ads again, attracting new users to crypto

To be honest, these ads never disappeared from everyone's feed. Yes, some crypto-related had troubles with getting approval for their ads. But these rules can be bypassed. There are various ways to evade being banning, sometimes it requires to try a hundred times, but in the end, there's a good chance that you'll get your ad approved. Change 'crypto' to 'cryptō' or 'crypt0', and you’re good to go.

The approval process is semi-automatic, it's easier to fool a machine than a human, and you can create advertising accounts endlessly, that leaves you a lot of options. Laziness? Or maybe Facebook just tried to halt it temporarily, to lift the ban when the regulatory uncertainty would dissolve? Very probably, taking into consideration that Facebook had problems at that moment, related to personal data leaks, and it couldn’t allow another scandal to happen.

YouTube already has a Bitconnect-related lawsuit on itself, for showing Bitconnect ads, and now nobody wants to deal with fraudulent projects anymore. But Coinbase is another league, and it’s great that Facebook unbanned it.
